Incorporated in the year 1996, "KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC" Unit - II , located in Hubli manufactures AC Induction Motors, 3 Phase/1 Phase AC Generators & AC/DC Motorised Gear Units which deliver premium performance even in the toughest jobs. More than 41,000 of Kirkoskar Electric AC/DC MGU's are installed and operating throughout India & abroad since 1984.
The Product
Kirloskar Electric has introduced their new "MG" series Motorised Gear Units. Quality and Reliability are by-words of any Kirloskar Electric Product. Helical gear box and electric motors are built as one unit to give co-axial, compact and sturdy construction for slow speed and high torque application. Kirloskar Electric manufactures both motors and gear box. Motorised gear units are available with double reduction, tripple reduction and double gear box design.

- Liberally designed bearing assembly for longer bearing life.
- Specially designed rugged cast iron body to with stand severe external vibration and shock loads, as a standard feature.
- Gears,pinions and bearings are lubricated through splash lubrication system with high vicios oil.
- A unibake component painting system at controlled atmosphere ensures quality finish, scratch resistance and durability.
